Triumphal Group of Companies was established more than three decades ago. It was founded by Mr. Toh Thim Leong in 1976, and it started as retailer which that gradually grew into importing and wholesaling of original equipment manufacturer (OEM) parts commonly used in Caterpillar and Komatsu equipment. The Group is involved in the marketing and distribution of undercarriage and spare parts for heavy and earth-moving equipment such as crawler tractors, excavators, harvesting machines and crawler cranes since 1977.

In 1988 the Group was propelled to greater growth subsequent to the appointment of Triumphal Associates Sdn Bhd as the sole regional exclusive distributor for Berco S.p.A of Italy, one of world’s largest manufacturers of undercarriages. The Group also represented many other renowned OEM brands and has secured a strong foothold in the competitive spare parts market. The Group has extensive range of products and markets them under its own house brands namely USG and GP.

By the end of 1990, the Group has set up subsidiaries at strategic locations in East Malaysia to develop a strong regional and distributions network so that it can market its products effectively and efficiently in Malaysia.

In 1995, Triumphal Associates Bhd (the listing vehicle of The Group) was successfully listed on the Kuala Lumpur Stock Exchange. The public listing further boost the Group’s reputation in the spare part industry and has strengthen the Group’s funding to its long term expansion plans.

The Group has integrated its wholesale operations and distribution networks throughout the country with real time inventory management systems in year 2000.

In 2004, the Group is spreading its wings through acquisition of two overseas companies, USG Products (F.E) Pte Ltd (USG Singapore) and M.T.T.S. Pte Ltd (MTTS). With USG Singapore, the Group is able to gain immediate access to international customer base while the MTTS Group already has a toehold in the fast-growing China market. The MTTS Group also provides The Group with an additional manufacturing platform via its established subsidiaries in China. Meanwhile, The Group further develops manufacturing capability of filters for various industries.

The Group currently holds exclusive Berco of Italy distributorship for Singapore and Malaysia, distributorship for China and Vietnam.
